I was invited to the exciting West End launch of Stiles and Drewe's latest, The Three Little Pigs - but as customary when I'm reviewing shows that are primarily aimed at a younger audience, I'll emphasise that what I thought about it doesn't really matter...

The 3 Little Pigs is currently enjoying a short pre-West End run at the beautiful Town Hall venue in Birmingham. With music by George Stiles and the book/lyrics by Anthony Drewe, this classic tale is given a fresh re-telling that will appeal to young children and parents alike.

The annual London theatre initiative Kids Week (www.kidsweek.co.uk) returns this summer from 1 - 31 August with an exciting line-up of more than 40 shows offering free tickets for children. Tickets will go on sale at 10:00 on Tuesday 16 June.

The pair recently released a concept recording of four songs written for a theoretical RATATOUILLE musical, with visuals from the film to go with them. They explicitly state, however, that they did not do this with Disney's sanction, so this seems to be more a strong hint to Disney than an assignment. Check out the live studio recording below!

All the other reviews I've read of this play are prefaced with a little note that the critic isn't a professional wrestling fan, and they go on to use terms such as 'bonkers' or 'far-fetched' to describe it. Well, I am a professional wrestling fan (I've even written a book about it), and 'Lardo', while funny and surreal in places, is very much rooted in life.

Obese, girlfriendless and struggling to make his way, Lardo (Daniel Buckley) is determined to join Tartan Wrestling Madness - the glamorous bad boys of the Scottish wrestling scene. When his dream finally comes true Lardo surprisingly becomes an overnight sensation, but the massive highs and crippling lows of being a professional wrestler soon threaten to overwhelm this unlikely hero.

There's a tsunami happening out there - people are clamouring for Lardo - it's Lardomania and yer won't be able to hold out for much longer.

Filipino-American actress Eva Noblezada, currently starring as Kim in Miss Saigon at the Prince Edward Theatre, has joined the line-up of artists set to perform at THE PHILIPPINE DREAM - a one-off Gala at the Leicester Square Theatre this Sunday (17 August).

Summer Strallen (The Sound of Music, Top Hat), Anton du Beke (Strictly Come Dancing), Dianne Pilkington (Mamma Mia!, Wicked) and cast members from Miss Saigon head a glittering line-up of West End stars in THE PHILIPPINE DREAM - a one-off Gala at the Leicester Square Theatre on Sunday 17 August to raise money for abandoned and abused orphans in Manila. A special guest host for the evening will be announced shortly.

Jacob Chapman is the new villainous failed-opera- singer-come-theatre-manager, Robin Pocketts, for the month-long West End run of USHERS: The Front of House Musical.

After receiving a clutch of 5-star rave reviews and great audiences in a late night slot, USHERS: The Front of House Musical has been promoted! USHERS: The Front of House Musical will now get a month-long West End residency as the main show at Charing Cross Theatre from tonight, 13 May to Saturday 7 June. Press night is Wednesday 14 May at 8.00pm.
