Sony Pictures previously announced via their Spider-Man Facebook page that the first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will debut today, December 5th.

The first trailer for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 bows tomorrow, but today, Sony has revealed the film's official synopsis, as well as the banner that's caused this week's rumors that Spidey may be facing off against more villains than initially expected.

IMAX Corporation (NYSE:IMAX; TSX:IMX) and Picturehouse previously announced that Metallica Through the Never, filmmaker Nimrod Antal's captivating 3D movie featuring one of music's most enduring and iconic bands, would be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX 3D format and released wide in North America exclusively into IMAX theatres for a one-week engagement starting today, Sept. 27. The film will expand into additional theatres on Oct. 4.

The album is the soundtrack to the forthcoming groundbreaking 3D feature film, Metallica Through The Never, to be released exclusively in IMAX theaters this Friday, Sept. 27th and worldwide on Friday, Oct. 4th. Metallica recently revealed a new live version of their legendary track 'Master of Puppets' HERE. The footage from the video will be featured in the upcoming film.
