Variety reports that the off-Broadway musical ZOMBIE PROM could be lurching toward the big screen soon.

The St. Lucie West Centennial Drama Department proudly presents Zombie Prom, a musical, featuring music by Dana P. Rowe, and book & lyrics by John Dempsey. The production runs this weekend, April 30-May 2, 2015 at 7:00 pm.

The Ogunquit Playhouse, America's Foremost Summer Theatre was honored to have John Dempsey, the author and lyricist of the musical comedy The Witches of Eastwick, in the audience on the evening of September 18th. After the show Mr. Dempsey joined Executive Artistic Director Bradford T. Kenney and the cast backstage to congratulate them on their performances and to take a group photo. He visited with James Barbour who stars in the Ogunquit production as Darryl Van Horne, as well as with Sally Struthers (Felicia Gabriel), and the three leading actresses Nancy Anderson (Sukie Rougemont), Sara Gettelfinger (Alexandra Spofford)and Mamie Parris (Jane Smart). Signature Theatre is excited to announce that the 25th anniversary 2014/15 season will culminate in an all-new production of The Fix, the inside-Washington musical satire. Featuring a book by John Dempsey and music by Dana P. Rowe (the creators of Brother Russia and The Witches of Eastwick), the show quickly became a favorite among Signature's artistic team during its U.S. premiere at the Theatre in 1998, cementing a longstanding relationship with Dempsey and Rowe.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, has announced plans to augment its diverse programming with a varied new series of in-house productions including a new interview series, a new musicals-in-concert series (following-up on the success of the club's wildly successful High Fidelity in Concertevent), and a program for new composers.
