Producer Dana M. Lerner (Application Pending) and Far From Canterbury, LLC announce that FAR FROM CANTERBURY: A NEW MUSICAL with Book, Music and Lyrics by Danny K. Bernstein, having won the Overall Excellence - Musical Award for its sold-out run at the New York International Fringe Festival will continue on as a part of the FringeNYC Encore Series, a selection of the best shows in both FringeNYC and Edinburgh Fringe. All performances take place at the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam St) this fall.

With over 200 shows presented at FringeNYC Festival and 900 at Edinburgh Fringe, it's hard to be in the know about what's worth seeing. Even worse is having missed the show everyone is talking about post festival. Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, the Fringe Encore Series will present some of the most critically-acclaimed and crowd-pleasing shows from both festivals. The world premiere of Application Pending, a new comedy by Greg Edwards & Andy Sandberg about the hilariously cutthroat world of kindergarten admissions at New York private schools, officially opens tonight, February 10, 2015 at the Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd St, New York, NY 10036). Application Pending is playing a limited engagement through April 19, 2015.
