Producers Hal Luftig and Jana Robbins in association with Sandy Block announced today that the Stage 42 Box Office (422 W 42nd St) officially opens tomorrow Monday, January 14, 2019 at 10AM for Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish. The production will begin performances on Monday, February 11, 2019, open officially on Thursday, February 21, 2019 and will play a limited engagement through June 30, 2019. MCC Theater announced today casting and creative team for the New York premiere of the musical Alice By Heart with book by Steven Sater with Jessie Nelson; music by Duncan Sheik, lyrics by Steven Sater, and directed by Jessie Nelson. Choreography will be by Rick and Jeff Kuperman.

Jujamcyn Theaters and NETworks Presentations announced principal casting for the North American Tour of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical FALSETTOS. Leading the National Company will be Broadway superstars Nick Adams (La Cage aux Folles and Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as "Whizzer," Eden Espinosa (Wicked, Brooklyn The Musical and Rent) as "Trina" and Max von Essen (An American in Paris, Tony Award-nominee, Evita and Les Miserables) as "Marvin."

The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's Off-Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, directed by Academy and Tony Award winner Joel Grey, will be releasing a cast album. The cast recording, released by Time Life Music and distributed byWarner Music Group, will be available in 2019, with an official date to be announced before the show transfers to Off-Broadway's Stage 42 in February.
