Amas Musical Theatre Holds Free MARRY HARRY Performances, Now thru 4/28

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff/Artistic Producer) presents free performances of "Marry Harry", a new musical with book by Jennifer Robbins, music by Dan Martin, lyrics by Michael Biello, directed by Kent Nicholson. The performances will take place tonight, April 26th at 4:00pm, Friday, April 27th at 3:00pm and 7:30pm, and Saturday, April 28th at 1:00 pm at Foxwood Rehearsal Studios, 214 West 43rd Street.

Actress Ella Joyce, best known for her co-starring role of Eleanor on FOX TV's 'Roc', and Jasmine on 'My Wife & Kids, captures the famous moment in the life of Rosa Parks, affectionately called 'Mother of the Civil Rights Movement', in her highly acclaimed, one-woman play A Rose Among Thorns, a Tribute to Rosa Parks; Created & Performed by ELLA JOYCE and Directed by Dan Martin. NY Stage & Film Season Opens; Will Feature Mario Cantone, Steven Slater, Duncan Sheik

New York Stage and Film (Johanna Pfaelzer, Artistic Director; Mark Linn-Baker, Max Mayer, Leslie Urdang, Producing Directors) and Vassar College (Ed Cheetham, Producing Director) have announced the full line-up of their 2011 Powerhouse Theater season, now entering its 27th year. The result of a unique collaboration between New York Stage and Film and Vassar College, the program consists of an eight-week residency on the Vassar campus (124 Raymond Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY) during which more than 200 professional artists and some 40 apprentices live and work together to create new theater works. The 2011 Main Stage season kicks off with Patricia Wettig's F2M (June 29 - July 10).

The COUSINS GRIMM Premieres At Chicago's Bailiwick Repertory Theatre 7/10-8/23
