TV Star Ella Joyce headlines the 4th Annual Aurora Jacksonville Black Arts Festival, July 22-24, 2011. Actress Ella Joyce, best known for her co-starring role of Eleanor on FOX TV's "Roc", and Jasmine on "My Wife & Kids, captures the famous moment in the life of Rosa Parks, affectionately called "Mother of the Civil Rights Movement", in her highly acclaimed, one-woman play A Rose Among Thorns, a Tribute to Rosa Parks; Created & Performed by Ella Joyce and Directed by Dan Martin. A ROSE AMONG THORNS will take place on Sunday, July 24 at 3:00 p.m. The Aurora Jacksonville Black Arts Festival is a three- day festival of entertainment showcasing great Theatre, Dance, and Music. The Festival will be held July 22 -24 at the Stage Aurora Performance Hall inside of Gateway Town Center located at 5188 Norwood Avenue.
