Holland Productions concludes their 2009-2010 season with the Boston professional premiere of Sarah Ruhl's Melancholy Play: A Contemporary Farce.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre will present the world premiere of Naomi Iizuka's new play CONCERNING STRANGE DEVICES FROM THE DISTANT WEST from February 26-April 11. The show explores the intersection of art and authenticity.

Amazons and Their Men, by Jordan Harrison, and directed by Michael Dove and Elissa Goetschius, is the second show in Forum Theatre's sixth season and started rehearsals on January 17.

Chicago -Artistic Director Bonnie Metzgar has announced the Midwestern premiere of Ann Marie Healy's new play WHAT ONCE WE FELT directed by Krissy Vanderwarker. The press opening is Friday, February 12th at 7:30pm at the Center On Halsted. The cast for WHAT ONCE WE FELT includes Charin Alvarez, Laura Fisher, Patricia Kane, Elizabeth Laidlaw, Ana Sferruzza, and Rebecca Sohn.

Applause Theatre & Cinema Books will release the most recent version of 'The Best American Short Plays,' in 2010, the publishing house has announced, and will include the 2003-2004, 2006-2007, and 2008 - 2009 version in the anthology. Play featured include works by Neil LaBute, David Ives, and Murray Schisgal.
