The parents of Rachel Corrie, Craig & Cindy Corrie and Yonatan Shapira (Israeli founder), Solaiman Khatib (Palestinian founder) of Combatants For Peace will form the panel for the November 14th Tuesday Talkback.  Moderated by ABC News anchor/correspondent Dan Harris, this panel discussion will occur following the 8pm performance of My Name is Rachel Corrie, as part of its ongoing series.

"The discussion will focus on Craig & Cindy Corrie's work to support and understand the situation of the Israeli and Palestinian people and the mission of Combatants For Peace, a group of Israeli and Palestinian individuals who were actively involved in the cycle of violence and now cooperate and commit to the idea that the conflict cannot be resolved through violence. The Talkback will include both a discussion between the panelists and questions from the audience," according to press materials.

Ny Name is Rachel Corrie has extended its limited run through December 30th.

The show was originally produced at London's Royal Court Theatre, where it opened in April 2005 and returned for an encore engagement in October 2005.  In Spring 2006, it played for nine weeks at the Playhouse Theatre in London's West End.

"Compiled from writings left behind in the diaries, letters and e-mails of American activist Rachel Corrie, a 23-year-old protester who was killed by an Israeli bulldozer in Gaza in 2003, My Name is Rachel Corrie chronicles the human, social and political evolution in the life and controversial death of a young woman." The play is edited by Alan Rickman and Katharine Viner, in collaboration with the Royal Court Theatre's International Department and produced by Dena Hammerstein and Pam Pariseau for James Hammerstein Productions, with the kind permission of the Corrie family.
