A TEAM of actors is testing its mettle four nights a week over the next month by performing a different show each night.

As one of the UK's top female impersonators, Ceri Dupree has been delighting audiences in Britain and around the world for almost 30 years. Aside from writing and producing his own shows, his extensive musical theatre credits include Hello Dolly, The Wizard of Oz and The Rocky Horror Show. He famously appeared at Madame Jo Jo's in London's West End for two years followed closely by a three-year residency at Minsky's Music Hall in Cardiff. Over the years he has impersonated almost every female star in the business in shows such as The Ceri Dupree Spectacular, Duprees a Crowd, Totally Frocked Up and Missleading Ladies, to name but a few.

The Georgetown Palace Playhouse brings us silly Christmas fun from across the pond with FARNDALE AVENUE HOUSING ESTATE TOWNSWOMEN'S GUILD DRAMATIC SOCIETY'S PRODUCTION OF A CHRISTMAS CAROL by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin, Jr, based on the work by Charles Dickens. In the United Kingdom, Christmas 'panto' is an annual holiday tradition. Panto is of course short for pantomime and includes send ups of fairy tales (or other well known stories) with over the top characters and lots of audience participation. The Georgetown Palace production, directed by Jonathan Young contains all of these elements and more.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 will present KT Sullivan and Mark Nadler reuniting to celebrate the Alan Jay Lerner centenary with their new show 'Almost Like Being In Love' on Sunday, October 14 at 9:30 PM. The effervescent duo, described by Stephen Holden in the New York Times as 'ferociously entertaining,' will include songs like 'If Ever I Would Leave You,' 'Gigi' and 'I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face' in addition to other Lerner masterpieces.
