Hollywood icon JOHN CUSACK makes his way to the State Theatre for a live conversation and audience Q&A on Thursday, September 20. With four decades' worth of roles in over 70 films, John Cusack will share stories from his career, answer audience questions, and give a behind-the-scenes look into his breakout role as Lloyd Dobler, following a screening of the iconic 1989 film Say Anything.

In celebration of the nationwide release of Superfly, in theaters June 13, the 2018 American Black Film Festival (ABFF) will open with the festival's premiere screening of Sony Pictures' Superfly on that same night at the Fillmore Theater in Miami Beach, Florida. Directed by the acclaimed Director X, director of legendary music videos for such artists as Drake and Rihanna, and starring Trevor Jackson (“Grown-ish”), the film's original soundtrack has been curated and produced by Future, who also produces the film with Joel Silver (The Matrix trilogy, Die Hard).

Vice President Joe Biden today announced a highly-acclaimed group of moderators for the final nine dates of his 39-city American Promise Tour. Former Charlotte Mayor and Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx will join the Vice President for the Charlotte stop of the tour taking place at Belk Theater on June 13th.  American journalist Cokie Roberts, New York Times bestselling author Curtis Sittenfeld, and Bestselling Author Celeste Ng will also join the tour as moderators throughout remaining dates of the tour.

The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) and Mills Entertainment announced today that Will Gilbert, co-host of The Rhode Show on WPRI CBS 12, will be the moderator for WILLIAM SHATNER AND STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN at PPAC today, May 12 at 7:30P.  The Rhode Show airs live Monday through Friday at 9A; tune in next week, May 7 - 11, for more information on a chance to win tickets to see the May 12th event.
