Veteran Broadway performer Matthew Scott has been named the new Creative Education Director of Broadway Dreams, a not-for-profit organization that provides youth and young adults with performance training, life skills building, and mentorship opportunities from the entertainment industry's most distinguished talents.

On Monday, November 20, 2017, Broadway Dreams hosted its annual New York City Showcase, the organization's cornerstone event that affords select students from around the world a once-in-a-lifetime chance to turn their dreams into realities as they perform for every major Broadway casting agency working on Broadway and other top industry professionals. Broadway Dreams is expanding its international programming to include New Zealand with a nine-day program, January 14 - January 21, 2018. The internationally renowned arts education non-profit will bring its unique brand of performing arts training to Takapuna School in Aukland, NZ.

Broadway Dreams kicked off their #ComeTogether Summer Intensive Tour yesterday at RWS Studios in Long Island City. For one week, 100 students worked with top Broadway professionals, including Jenn Colella, Christopher J. The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (The Wallis) and the Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) have announced the return of the annual Broadway Dreams Summer Intensive being held June 18 - 25, 2017 at The Wallis in Beverly Hills, as well as its talented musical theater faculty lineup comprised of Broadway performers, directors and casting directors.

Broadway Dreams Foundation alumni Sidney DuPont (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Rachael Washington, and current student Dylan Christopher Gibson join the previously announced cast of Broadway faculty, alumni, and students for the June 12th Concert at Green Room 42.

Broadway Dreams and writer Drew Fornarola (STRAIGHT, Claudio Quest) will team up to present an evening of songs from Fornarola's musicals at the beautiful new Green Room 42 on 42nd Street. The event will be held on June 12th at 8pm and will help kick off the Broadway Dreams New York City Musical Theatre Intensive. Tickets are $20.

Lifewise Productions has announced that it will stage Mickele Hogan's MOURNING THE LIVING, a new drama directed by Alan Souza about caregivers of those afflicted with Alzheimer's disease, April 7th through April 22nd at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre at 312 West 36th Street in Manhattan.

Tony Award-winning star of stage and screen, Jane Krakowski ("Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," "30 Rock"), brought some holiday cheer to Philadelphia when she appeared in the Broadway Dreams Foundation's sixth annual White Christmas at The Inn at Grace Winery, hosted by Vicki and Chris Le Vine on Sunday, December 13, 2015.
