Broadway star appearances and performances by award-winning guest artists will mark the 2010 Summer Music Theatre Festival at the Theatre and Interpretation Center at Northwestern University.

Working is a musical about people who are never in musicals. The hard hats, cleaning women, parking lot attendants and bricklayers portrayed in this show are propelled from the chorus line of life into unlikely leading roles.

An amazing ensemble of Broadway talent will assemble on April 26th to perform the music of Will Reynolds, including: Jeannette Bayrdelle (Hair, The Color Purple) Sara Jean Ford (Finian's Rainbow, Anyone Can Whistle',) Jeremy Jordan (West Side Story, Rock of Ages), Carrie Manolakos (Wicked, Mama Mia) and Zachary Prince (Jersey Boys).

The Joe Allen Players return to midtown Manhattan for Broadway Bombs. After a sold out sold out performances at the Laurie Beechman Theater & Don't Tell Mama this past fall, the Joe Allen Players will reprise Broadway Bombs complete with the latest bombs, little known flop facts, new cast members, new stories, new songs and, of course, more Carrie...The Musical.
