Working is a musical about people who are never in musicals. The hard hats, cleaning women, parking lot attendants and bricklayers portrayed in this show are propelled from the chorus line of life into unlikely leading roles. The hopes, dreams, joys and concerns of the average working American are the focus of this unique, extraordinary musical. Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews with American workers, Working paints a vivid portrait of the men and women the world so often takes for granted. Music by: Stephen Schwartz, Micki Grant, Craig Carnelia, Mary Rodgers, and James Taylor.

Guest Director: Ranae Butler
