Do you dance? Have you ever danced around? A decision? With a lover, around an issue or a job? When it comes time to pay the band, is the dancing always done?

In this show, Jeff dances with you and around you, and for seventy-five minutes he won't let you go. With songs from Howard Dietz and Arthur Schwartz, Sammy Cahn, James Taylor, Jule Styne, Craig Carnelia, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and Elton John.

With leading man written all over him, Jeff Wright returns to the Kranzberg with his show The Dance. (When it comes time to pay the band, is the dancing always done?) Following a sold out weekend earlier this year, Jeff returns to The Kranzberg with his latest show.

"Singer Jeff Wright is music's contemporary 'matinee idol.' He is heart, voice and looks. Once Mr. Wright asks you to dance (even if you have two left feet)... you will be floating on air."
-Lina Koutrakos, singer/songwriter

"Do yourself a favor - go see and hear Jeffrey M. Wright. He's the kind of singer songwriters pray for and audiences go wild for. Easy on the eyes and the ears, he sings with honesty and soul, and always delivers the goods."
-Alex Rybeck, arranger/pianist

"...I'm impressed with the confidence and sincerity he projects on stage...
-Chris Gibson, Cabaret Scenes magazine

Jeff is a regular on the St. Louis cabaret and theatre scene. He has appeared in showcases at The Sheldon, Jazz at the Bistro, Tower Grove Abbey, The Gaslight Theatre, The Cabaret at Savor, The Basement, and Rockcliffe Mansion in Hannibal. His solo cabaret debut, A Night with Mr. Wright, played to sold-out audiences at the Kranzberg Arts Center in February and March of 2009.

Recent musical theatre roles include Jamie in The Last Five Years (New Jewish Theatre), Rapunzel's Prince in Into the Woods and Pippin in Pippin (both with Stray Dog Theatre), as well as Rob Gordon in the mid-west regional premiere of High Fidelity (New Line Theatre). Jeff was recently honored by Arts for Life as Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of J. Pierrepont Finch in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying with Kirkwood Theatre Guild.
