The previously announced Broadway in South Africa 5th Anniversary Celebration-a star-studded concert of original music based on essays and letters from South African students who participate in their youth development programs-will now take place at Avenues, the World School, a brand new state-of-the-art 'world school' and 'integrated learning community, located on the High Line. The concert will still begin promptly at 8pm with a reception to follow.
Celebrating the life of Mexican-American superstar Selena Quintanilla-Perez, BROADWAY SINGS SELENA will welcome a starry cast of Broadway's best performers; presented at Off-Broadway's The Underground Theatre on April 1st. The show will be directed by Jay Levy. In anticipation of the show, the stars share their Selena experiences and talk about the upcoming tribute, set for the 18th anniversary of the late Tex-Mex singer's death. Watch below!

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) will present three FREE staged readings of Distant Thunder, a new musical with music and lyrics by Chris Wiseman and Shaun Taylor-Corbett, book by Lynne Taylor-Corbett and Shaun Taylor-Corbett, additional music and lyrics by Robert Nassif Lindsey, directed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett. The readings will take place on Thursday, February 28th at 4:00pm, and Friday, March 1st at 1:00pm and 4:00pm at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street.

Set against the backdrop of 90s pop music and suggested by the true story behind the sound that defined a generation, PLOP features music and lyrics by Damon Intrabartolo (bare, Fantastic Four, Superman Returns) and a revised book by Kenneth Finkle (Alive and Well, Indoor/Outdoor) with direction by Anthony J. Cantalupo.

The beguiling new production gracing the Paper Mill stage is full of vibrant performances and colorful stagecraft.
More than 20 years after its premiere, Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens have re-invented their first musical with Tony-nominated director Thomas Kail (In the Heights, Lombardi, Magic/Bird), choreographer Bradley Rapier (So You Think You Can Dance, Jesus Christ Superstar) and new orchestrations by music director Lynne Shankel (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Altar Boyz).
