ABC Talent and Casting today announced Terry Hu, originally from Los Angeles, California, as the 2018 winner of the ABC Discovers: Digital Talent Competition in the U.S. The announcement follows a contest that garnered submissions from actors across the United States. Lifetime has announced the network's It's a Wonderful Lifetime lineup, which features 14 all-new original movies and nine acquired films. Starring in these films includes a slew of Broadway stars such as Megan Hilty, Marrisa Jaret Winokur, and Jane Alexander.

Christmas is coming early this year! Lifetime sleighs the 2018 holiday season this year with the network's It's a Wonderful Lifetime lineup, featuring 14 all-new original movies and nine acquired films. Kicking off on November 21 with a special week featuring five nights of premieres, each week of the holiday season will feature new movies every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it was announced today by Tanya Lopez, EVP, Movies, Limited Series and Original Movie Acquisitions, Lifetime and LMN.

ABC Talent and Casting's annual ABC Discovers: Digital Talent Competition, which takes place Monday, Sept. 10 – Monday, Sept. 24, is now live. The competition aims to discover and champion actors who may not have had the opportunity to be seen yet by a team of professional casting executives. In the U.S., actors 18 and older are encouraged to visit ABCDiscovers.com to enter the contest for the chance to receive a one-year $25,000 talent deal with ABC. The 2018 winner will be announced Wednesday, Nov. 14, when their videos will be featured on the ABC Discovers website. Based on the success of prior U.S. competitions, ABC launched a U.K. version of the competition at ABCDiscoversUK.com last year. This separate U.K. talent contest is also live now. The winner of the separate U.K. competition will also receive a one-year $25,000 talent deal with ABC.

ABC's TGIT lineup once again nearly tied a “Big Bang”-led CBS for No. 1 on Thursday in Adults 18-49 (1.3/6 vs. 1.4/6), while defeating NBC by 86% (0.7/3) and Fox by 117% (0.6/2). Boasting strong delayed viewing for its Thursday dramas, ABC is projected to move ahead and win Thursday night, once Live + 7 Day Adult 18-49 ratings become available.

All proceeds from this once in a lifetime event will benefit The Actors Fund's programs and services.
