The Slipper Room, the celebrated variety theatre in Manhattan's Lower East Side, has announced the line-up for their Fall season through the New Year, presenting a full calendar of regular weekly in-house productions in addition to guest shows, concerts and one-nighters.

On the fourth Monday of every month, two of NYC's most beloved underground acts join forces to bring a monthly, intimate evening of entertainment to the legendary Slipper Room. Charming troubadour and raconteur Corn Mo brings his patented combination of original songs, quirky, off-kilter anecdotes, and charisma, framed by The Love Show Dancers' dance performance, burlesque, and saucy surprises! This month, our special guest is Pinkie Special, the Monty Python of Burlesque!

Nonetheless, he's particularly giddy to be able to celebrate his the culmination of his fifth decade on the planet by presenting this ridiculously eclectic evening of song, dance, magic, circus, comedy, and more!

The Love Show is a theatrical dance company based in Brooklyn that combines cabaret, ballet, rock, comedy, and theater into creative performances all over the US and beyond. The Love Show has entertained all audiences, rocking stages from Lebowskifest to The Public's Shakespeare in The Park. The Love Show was commissioned to perform original choreography for clients including Banksy, Veuve Clicquot, Bacardi, and Vogue Magazine.

Kitchen Dog Theater continues its 26th season of theater with the area premiere of Trevor by Nick Jones. Inspired by true events,?Trevor?is a subversive comedy about fame, success, and the lies we tell ourselves to keep people from taking away an erratic, 200-pound chimpanzee. At the center of this hilarious and heart-wrenching play are two individuals fighting against a world unable to understand their love: Trevor, a chimpanzee who once performed in commercials with the likes of Morgan Fairchild, and his owner Sandra, who swears he would never hurt a fly...at least not on purpose. KDT Co-Artistic Director Tina Parker directs this hilarious and heartbreaking exploration of family, flawed communication, and humanity.

Good thing Joe's Pub has got a ton of it going on in the next couple of weeks. This weekend - Cathy Cervenka and Corn Mo host their annual Valentine's Day duet bonanza - Love Bites - on the 12th. Afterward, Xavier is back with his Ladies of Soul tribute, featuring Martha Redbone, Bright Light Bright Light, Anastacia McCleskey (of Waitress The Musical on Broadway), Toshi Reagon, Justin Johnston and Abena Koomson!
