CIRQUE DU SOLEIL and BLUE MAN GROUP Light Up the Ice with Two Intermission Performances at Vegas Golden Knights Game

On Saturday, Feb. 17, Las Vegas' premier entertainment group, Cirque du Soleil will take the ice at the Vegas Golden Knights game against the Montreal Canadiens at T-Mobile Arena. The audience will be treated to both the Canadian National Anthem performed byZumanity singer Corinne Zarzour and the American National Anthem performed by Mystère singer Briana Rossi.

In THE DAYS ARE SHORTER, by Evanston resident Corinne J. Kawecki, 53-year-old Julia is afraid of getting older. Despite attempts to recapture her youth, her body keeps reminding her of her advancing years. With the help of her younger female lover's magic act, Julia creates a new, magical life to help her accept the inevitability of aging through finding out who is she is and who really needs her love.  The play was an entrant in Pride Films and Plays' annual "LezPlay" competition in 2016 and was produced by Queer Theatre Kalamazoo this past January.

Shakespeare Festival St. Louis Announces Cast For ROMEO & JULIET

Shakespeare Festival St. Louis will be adding a fourth pillar - In the Works - to its In the Schools, In the Streets, In the Park programming, enhancing its appeal as a year-round festival, it was announced today. In the Works, a month-long ticketed event, scheduled for late fall at the Grandel Theatre, will culminate the 2018 season that includes the Education Tour (Feb. 5-April 15), SHAKE 38 (April 18-22), the main stage production of "Romeo & Juliet" (June 1-24) and Shakespeare in the Streets' production of "Blow, Winds," (June 15-16).

FOX has released the first look at upcoming season of BEAT SHAZAM! Grammy-, Golden Globe- and Academy Award-winning actor and musician Jamie Foxx (“Ray,” “Django Unchained”) returns as host and executive producer for Season Two of BEAT SHAZAM. Actress, model and writer Corinne Foxx, daughter of Jamie Foxx, joins BEAT SHAZAM as the new deejay. BEAT SHAZAM is a unique and interactive game show in which teams of two race against the clock and each other as they attempt to identify the biggest hit songs of all time. In the end, the team with the highest score will outlast the competition and go againstShazam, the world's most popular song identification app, for the chance to win up to one million dollars. Executive-produced by Mark Burnett (“Survivor,” “The Voice”) and Jeff Apploff (“Don't Forget the Lyrics!”), Season Two is scheduled to premiere in May 2018 on FOX. BEAT SHAZAM was created by Jeff Apploff and Wes Kauble and is produced by Apploff Entertainment and MGM Television in association with Shazam. Mark Burnett, Jeff Apploff, Barry Poznick, Rich Riley, Lauren Zalaznick and Jamie Foxx serve as executive producers.
