The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust presents two world music trailblazers in concert tonight, February 4, 2015 at 7:30pm. This performance will take place at the Byham Theater, located at 101 Sixth Street, downtown Pittsburgh. The presentation is part of the 2014-15 Cohen & Grigsby Trust Presents series.

Apollo's Fire reprises its popular “Fireside” series – intimate 90-minute concerts followed by coffee, hot cider and conversation with the artists. (CAMI) and will join Grammy Award-winning and Tony Award nominated saxophonist and composer Branford Marsalis on his national 'Well-Tempered' tour, featuring Baroque masterpieces by Albinoni, Bach, Handel, Vivaldi and more.

Meredith Willson's beloved family musical, THE MUSIC MAN, returns to the stage in an all-new concert staging starring the Marian of the classic film, Academy Award winner Shirley Jones, who will not only essay the role of Mrs. Paroo, but will serve as host and narrator. She will be joined on stage by her son, Patrick Cassidy as Prof. Harold Hill. A little known bit of Hollywood history: Shirley was pregnant with Patrick during the filming of The Music Man. Performances begin, appropriately enough, in Willson's home town (and model for River City) Mason City, Iowa tonight, September 18th.

Spencer Theater Fall-Winter Season 2014-15: There's something for everyone in the 18-show line-up, all staged with superior lighting and grand acoustics at the award-winning, non-profit performance hall located 12 miles north of the mountain resort community of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Evening shows throughout the Fall-Winter-Spring season begin at 7 p.m., with dinner buffets ($20) in the Crystal Lobby starting at 5 p.m.

Visual and performing artists are needed for residencies for the Head StART in ART program for the 2014-2015 school year. Residencies will take place at the Ellicott City Head Start Center or the Tubman Head Start Center in Columbia. Artists seeking a residency must have experience working with children; experience with pre-K is preferred. The performing artist residency will conclude with performances by the Head Start children. The visual artist residency will conclude with the completion of an art project for display at their Head Start Center or individual projects for students to take home. Gloriæ Dei Cantores, the internationally acclaimed choir from Orleans, Massachusetts that celebrated its 25thanniversary in 2013, embarks on its 2014 concert series at the Church of the Transfiguration in Orleans with Lenten Concerts today and Saturday, March 7 and 8 at 7:30pm. The repertoire features two Baroque choral masterpieces, with orchestra: Jesu, der du meine Seele by J.S. Bach and Membra Jesu nostri by Dieterich Buxtehude.
