Civilians Theatre Co to Premiere 'Brooklyn at Eye Level' Dec. 4-7 in Brookyn

The Civilians (Steven Cosson, Artistic Director), the award-winning New York-based theater company, will present the premiere performances of their newest project, Brooklyn at Eye Level, the culmination of a long-term investigation of development in Brooklyn and its effect on neighborhood and community December 4 - 7, 2008 at The Brooklyn Lyceum (227 4th Avenue).

Bonney Directs Weller's 'Beast' At NYTW 9/15, Marshall-Green Stars

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that Beast, written by Michael Weller and directed by Jo Bonney, will begin performances Friday, August 29 at 8pm, at NYTW, 79 East 4th Street, between Second Avenue and Bowery. Opening night is scheduled for Monday, September 15 at 7pm. The production will run through Sunday, October 12.

'Gone Missing' CD & Performances at Barnes & Noble Today

The Civilians of the off-Broadway hit Gone Missing reunite to perform selections from their recent Off Broadway triumph at Barnes and Noble Lincoln Center (1972 Broadway at 66th Street) on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 7:30PM.

'Gone Missing' Original Off-Bway Cast CD Released Today

On Tuesday, January 15 Ghostlight Records officially released the cast recording of The Civilians' Gone Missing, the hit musical that recently ended its smash engagement at The Barrow Street Theatre Off-Broadway. The album features the entire original cast of Emily Ackerman, Damian Baldet, Jennifer R. Morris, Stephen Plunkett, Robbie Collier Sublett and Colleen Werthmann and is produced by Kurt Deutsch and Jan Folkson.

'Gone Missing' Ends Off-Bway Hit Run 1/6; CD Released 1/15

The Civilians, the acclaimed New York-based theater troupe, will end their smash Off Broadway debut with Gone Missing on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street). Gone Missing will not, however, go entirely missing as its cast album from Ghostlight Records has announced a release date of January 15, 2008.
