The Civilians of the off-Broadway hit Gone Missing reunite to perform selections from their recent Off Broadway triumph at Barnes and Noble Lincoln Center (1972 Broadway at 66th Street) on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 7:30PM.  Members of the cast as well as Director Steven Cosson and Composer Michael Friedman will be on hand to perform and participate in a question and answer session.

On Tuesday, January 15 Ghostlight Records officially released the cast recording of The Civilians' Gone Missing, the hit musical that recently ended its smash engagement at The Barrow Street Theatre Off-Broadway.  The album features the entire original cast of Emily Ackerman, Damian Baldet, Jennifer R. Morris, Stephen Plunkett, Robbie Collier Sublett and Colleen Werthmann and is produced by Kurt Deutsch and Jan Folkson.

The Civilians, the acclaimed New York-based theater troupe, ended their smash Off Broadway debut with Gone Missing on January 6, 2008 after 194 performances.  Written and directed by Steven Cosson with additional text by Peter Morris, and featuring music and lyrics by Michael Friedman, Gone Missing began performances on June 14, 2007.

"Gone Missing is crafted from company interviews with real-life New Yorkers about things gone missing: keys, IDs, a Gucci pump...or one's mind.  Since its initial performance, just after September 11, 2001, Gone Missing has continued to morph into its current incarnation, set against Mr. Friedman's score, which incorporates salsa, ballads, operetta and tuneful pop," explain press notes.
