Maryland Ensemble Theatre has announced its second production in its 2020-2021 Season Of Surprises: William Shakespeare's The Tempest.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) MET-X series continues with the return of its surreal sci-fi comedy series 'Laugh Station: Election' Friday July 8 and Saturday July 9, 9 p.m at 31 West Patrick Street in Frederick, MD. 

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) will present another installment of the Laugh Station series in this summer's uproarious "Laugh Station: Cuerpo". After a year in cryo-stasis, the intrepidly inebriated crew of "Laugh Station" returns for their most insane adventure yet. See where it all began in this mind altering origin story. Can our heroes save the innocent townsfolk from the clutches of a gas huffing madman? Will the top secret federation weapon be recovered in time for happy hour? Do bodily fluids really float in outer space? Find out at "Laugh Station: Cuerpo".

Along the way, they'll battle sexy ninjas, drink rum out of coconuts, start a robot revolution, hang out with ghosts, huff glue and perform high flying song and dance numbers. But will they be able to save the day in time for happy hour? All this and more, in the latest thrilling, chilling, mind altering space comedy from the boys, girls and 'bots aboard Laugh Station.
