The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today An Evening with Alfonso Cuarón, on Thursday, February 13. The evening will include the Oscar-nominated director in person to present a screening of his latest award-winning and 10-time Oscar-nominated film Gravity, immediately followed by a conversation and then a screening of his 2006 critically acclaimed film Children of Men. The conversation will be moderated by Film Comment magazine editor-in-chief, Gavin Smith. Tickets on sale now at Filmlinc.com.

Museum of the Moving Image's ongoing series See It Big! presents classic and contemporary films on the big screen in the beautiful Sumner M. Redstone Theater. In November and December, the Museum will showcase 22 films photographed by some of the world's greatest cinematographers, including Gordon Willis, Vittorio Storaro, Vilmos Zsigmond, Nestor Almendros, Raoul Coutard, James Wong Howe, and more. The series, See It Big!: Great Cinematographers, runs from November 8 through December 29, 2013.

Stage Left Theatre announces their upcoming revival of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg written by Peter Nichols and directed by ensemble member Greg Werstler. A Day in the Death of Joe Egg is the second production of Stage Left's 32ndseason. Press opening is Tuesday, January 14th at 7:30 PM at Theater Wit, 1229 W Belmont. The show runs through February 16th.
