The highly anticipated film INTO THE WOODS had its premiere last night, December 8th at New York's City's Ziegfeld Theatre. The film hits theaters on December 25th, is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. ABC has announced that in celebration of 'Backstage with Disney on Broadway: Celebrating 20 Years', Aladdin stars Adam Jacobs and Tony award-winner James Monroe Iglehart will perform on THE VIEW today, December 9th.

ABC has announced that in celebration of "Backstage with Disney on Broadway: Celebrating 20 Years", ALADDIN stars Adam Jacobs and Tony award-winner James Monroe Iglehart will perform on THE VIEW on Tuesday, December 9th.

Disney is currently in talks with executives of the London Palladium theatre to bring the Broadway musical to the West End in early 2016.

Adam Jacobs welcomed twin boys, Jack and Alex, earlier this year, on the morning of the company's first rehearsal for the Broadway production of ALADDIN. For their first Halloween, the production's Tony-winning costume designer, Gregg Barnes, made mini-Aladdin costumes for the boys. Check out photos from the family's holiday below!

Lea Salonga, the singing voice of Jasmine in the iconic ALADDIN film took a magic carpet ride to Broadway for a night to visit Aladdin himself - Adam Jacobs! Salonga provided the singing voice of two official Disney Princesses: Jasmine in Aladdin (1992), and Fa Mulan in Mulan (1998) and Mulan II (2004). She was named a Disney Legend in 2011 for her work with The Walt Disney Company. Most recently, she's toured with IL DIVO.
