Writers Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma, announces a one-week extension to Company, featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth. The production is directed by William Brown. Company features original orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick, Orchestral Reductions by Ian Weinberger, music direction by Tom Vendafreddo and choreography by Brock Clawson. The show, originally slated to run through July 31, 2016, will add an additional week, through August 7, in the Alexandra C. and John D. Nichols Theatre at 325 Tudor Court, Glencoe.

Dudley Saunders' IN THESE BOXES is an uncommon - and uncanny - mix of live music, transmedia, and video art that explores the human need to keep the dead from disappearing by holding on to their things. For the Chicago premiere of the show, Dudley asks the local community to contribute photos of objects they have inherited from loved ones and can't let go. Following its highly celebrated inaugural season, Visceral will grow its repertoire in 2014-2015 with world premieres by Brian Enos, Harrison McEldowney, and Banning Boulding. Visceral will also have the great honor of presenting and performing a company premiere by Ohad Naharin. Artistic Director Nick Pupillo will create two new works: a solo work with cellist Desiree Miller and a full company piece.
