Broadway in Bryan Park continued its 2015 program on Thursday - and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the first day. Later this week, 106.7 LITE FM will continue its 15th annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' The 2015 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on the Bryant Park Stage. This Thursday's line-up will include performances from the casts of SAYONARA (Jennifer Piacenti, Morgan McCann, Edward Tolve, Ya Han Chang),  The Phantom of the Opera, Kinky Boots (Jake Odmark, Haven Burton, Nick Rashad Burroughs, Paul Canaan, Sean Patrick Doyle, Robert Pendilla), and BEAUTIFUL (Chilina Kennedy, E. Clayton Cornelious, Alan Wiggins, Douglas Lyons, Melvin Tunstall).

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that the full cast of Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, the smash hit musical about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will perform in City Parks Foundation's SummerStage festival in Central Park for one-night-only, on Monday, August 3 at 8:00 PM (doors open at 7:00 PM).

After an 18-month run on Broadway, Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller will say goodbye to the biomusical BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING STORY tonight.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Award-winning Canadian actress Chilina Kennedy, who made her Broadway debut as 'Mary Magdalene' in Jesus Christ Superstar, has nabbed the title role in Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, the smash hit musical about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter. Kennedy begins performances on March 7, 2015, succeeding Tony Award-winner Jessie Mueller, who will play her final performance in Beautiful on March 6 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street).

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that they will be holding a nationwide open casting call for the most sought-after role on Broadway, the title role in Beautiful -The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter. The show's casting directors will hold an open call for 'Carole King' at New York City's Ripley Grier Studios (520 Eighth Avenue) today, January 16, 2015 and will also search nationally for Caroles and other cast members for the Broadway, touring and international productions of the smash hit musical.
