Ella Road's debut play, The Phlebotomist transfers to Hampstead Theatre's Main Stage, following a sold out run Downstairs in 2018, with Jade Anouka and Rory Fleck Byrne reprising their roles as Bea and Aaron. They will be joined by Kiza Deen playing Char, Claudia Cadette playing Phlebotomist/Citizen/Ensemble, Mark Lambert playing David and Edward Wolstenholme as Phlebotomist/Gambler/Ensemble.

Today, Monday 19 October, the cast of Tennessee Williams' Cat On A Hot Tin Roof begin rehearsals for the show's West End run at the Novello Theatre from 21 November to 10 April 2010.
Richard Blackwood, Derek Griffiths and Nina Sosanya join the previously announced Sanaa Lathan, Adrian Lester, Phylicia Rashad and James Earl Jones in Debbie Allen's sell-out Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. Produced by Stephen Byrd and Alia Jones for Front Row Productions, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof will run at the Novello Theatre from 21 November to 10 April 2010, with press night on 1 December. Set designs are by Morgan Large with costume designs by Fay Fullerton, lighting by David Holmes, sound by Richard Brooker and original music by Andrew 'Tex' Allen.

With so many big West End shows seeming like a severe case of the emperor's new clothes as they are either hastily put together juke box musicals or song and dance versions of films, it is wonderful to see something that is truly original.
