Marty Stuart released his new song “Sitting Alone” from his forthcoming album. Stuart is currently in the midst of a nationwide headlining tour that resumes this Friday, March 24 in St. Louis, MO before performing at Stagecoach Festival on April 29 and hitting the road with Chris Stapleton this summer. 15-Time Grammy-winning banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck comes to the not-for-profit Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts showcasing a multi-generational gamut of the best of bluegrass players on Sunday, April 10 at 7pm. 

The duo star in the cinematic Ben Proulx-directed horror parody. That followed last month’s “Beethoven (feat. YN Jay)” remix which was added to Spotify playlists Westside Story (175k), New Joints (120k) and The Culture – Hip Hop Vibes (125k). David Grier is pleased to announce his newfull-length album, Ways Of The World, due for release on March 29, 2019. Hosted on Grier's label, Dreadnought Recordings, and co-produced with Brent Truitt (The SteelDrivers), the project unveils ten original songs penned by Grier as well as two century-old fiddle tunes that are revived with a new twist. This is also the first album to feature Grier on lead vocals. The world-class musicians joining Grier on Ways Of The World include Stuart Duncan, Tim O'Brien, Bryan Sutton, Maura O'Connell, Mike Compton, Justin Moses, Dennis Crouch, Shad Cobb, Casey Campbell, John Gardner, Andrea Zonn, Jeff Taylor, Rod McGaha, and Cory Walker.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of "Sweetheart of the Rodeo," Byrds co-founders Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman will perform the groundbreaking album in its entirety and tell stories that brought the album to life. The special tour will make limited stops, including one in Boston at the newly refurbished Emerson Colonial Theatre on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 7:30pm.

This week ArtsBridge announced the nominees for the 10th Anniversary Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards. 38 public and private schools from throughout the state were nominated in 17 categories. The awards show is the culmination of a year-long professional development program and will showcase the next generation of Georgia's musical theatre talent. Presented by the Georgia Lottery, the awards show will air on Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) over its nine-station statewide television network live from Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on April 19, 2018 from 7-9 pm.

Much to the excitement of Americana music fans worldwide, the highly anticipated debut CD by The Everyday's has been released! The Everydays, from Black Mountain, North Carolina, is the collaborative effort between singer-songwriters Tim Marsh and David Zoll. Both musicians also maintain membership in several area acts including Chalwa, Asheville Horns and Bayou Diesel. Tim Marsh and David Zoll also perform as solo acts under their respective names. The album was recorded and engineered by J Ferris at Discfunctinonal Family studios in Asheville, NC.
