Imagine salsa dancing under the stars.or joining in on a poetry slam.or bringing your family out for a free movie.or taking a break from your work day to enjoy a reggae band. Free events such as these are part of MPAC's exciting new initiative entitled 'Arts in the Community.'

Pittsburgh CLO has amassed an impressive lineup of Broadway stars and Pittsburgh CLO veterans to bring the 2018 Summer Season to life June-August. The organization's core mission to produce shows locally helps to employ artists each year from Pittsburgh and across the country.

Casting is complete for the Encores! Off-Center production of Songs for a New World with the addition of television actor and Encores! alum Colin Donnell (Lady, Be Good!; Merrily We Roll Along; Follies).

Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway production of Saint Joan written by Nobel Prize in Literature and Academy Award winner Bernard Shaw and directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan is now in its final two weeks of performances. The production is produced in association with Eddie Marks/Ostar. Today, Wednesday May 30, marks the Feast Day of Saint Joan - which celebrates her life and her sainthood.

Lollapalooza is pleased to announce the latest addition to its global family with Lollapalooza Stockholm, taking place June 28-29, 2019 at Gardet, a beautiful park in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden. Stockholm becomes the sixth international edition of the world-class festival, alongside Santiago, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Berlin and Paris. Producer Scott Rudin announced today that two-time Tony Award winner, and one of Broadway's most treasured stars, Donna Murphy, will once again step into the role of Dolly Gallagher Levi for six performances of Hello, Dolly!, during Tony Award winner Bette Midler's return to the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival.

DESPERATE MEASURES, a musical comedy gone wild with music by David Friedman (Listen To My Heart), book and lyrics by Peter Kellogg (Anna Karenina), and directed by Bill Castellino (Cagney, Marry Harry), will play New World Stages (340 West 50th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues), it was announced today by producers Pat Flicker Addiss and Mary Cosette. For the third consecutive year, Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation will be entertaining CMA Fest fans with Music City's cutest canines, all available for adoption to caring, qualified families. Partnering with Nashville Humane Association, MuttNation will have adorable adoptables available each day from11-3pm at the MuttNation rig located inside the Music City Center. Bev Lambert, Miranda's mom and co-founder of MuttNation Foundation, will be on-site to have photos taken with each adopting family. With MuttNation's support, more than 100 shelter dogs have been rescued by country music fans at CMA Fest over the past two years.

Two-time Tony award nominee John Carrafa, Kristen Carcone, and Helen Simoneau have each received creation grants to experiment with the development of new work. The Cycle will run June 4-29.

Pittsburgh CLO is proud to open the 2018 Summer Season with the Pittsburgh premiere of Broadway sensation, ON YOUR FEET!, June 12-17 at the Benedum Center. Pittsburgh CLO remains steadfastly dedicated to the creation of new work, and co-produced the Broadway production of ON YOUR FEET! as part of this ongoing commitment. Pittsburgh CLO has brought over 20 new shows to their "Feet" on the Broadway stage, including the recent productions of An American in Paris, Kinky Boots, Matilda The Musical and many others.

The Delta darlings known as the Country/Southern Rock trio Southern Halo are gearing up for a busy CMA Music Festival filled with performances, appearances and more. They'll arrive in Music City with their current single, 'Anything Is Possible,' continuing its rise on the Billboard Indicator (#54) and Music Row (#43) charts

The Muny announced today its full cast, design and production teams for the theatre's centennial season production of Annie, July 18 -25. 

HERE (Kristin Marting, Founding Artistic Director, and Kim Whitener, Executive Director) is proud to close their 25th anniversary season with the commissioned world premiere of American Weather, a new work by director and designer Chris Green, a member of the HERE Artist Residency Program since 2016. With a bittersweet verve, American Weather is a visceral work of material performance inspired by daily life in America.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced the return of Mykal Kilgore, the celebrated vocalist starring in New York City Center's upcoming Encores! Off-Center production of Jason Robert Brown's Songs for a New World, for an encore performance on Monday, June 4 at 7:00 PM.

Lee Gantt, who recently debuted his first single “Ruined This Town” is proud to announce that he will be performing at the 2018 CMA Festinside the Music City Center on the Spotlight Stage. His performance is scheduled for June 9, at 2:00 pm CT, with a 30 minute fan meet-and greet-immediately after his set.

Kyle Dillingham is excited to announce that he'll be making his 2018 CMA Fest debut on the Spotlight Stage inside Music City Center. Dillingham will perform at 1:00 pm CT on June 8, followed by a 30 minute fan meet-and-greet immediately after his performance.
