Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of India Pale ale, written by Jaclyn Backhaus and directed by Will Davis, will celebrate opening night tomorrow at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). The new play began performances on Tuesday, October 2.

Lewis Black is coming to Hershey Theatre on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 8:00 PM.

The New Orleans Ballet Association (NOBA) presents the return of the classically American Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) Today, October 20, at 8 p.m. at the Mahalia Jackson Theater of the Performing Arts. Continuing its half-century legacy of breaking boundaries and transforming lives through ballet, the company brings a beautiful program of new works and treasured classics that highlights its rich history and honors trailblazing founder Arthur Mitchell, who passed away on Sept. 19 at the age of 84.

K'Arts Ballet of Korea will present the American premiere of Song of the Mermaid, a fantasy ballet choreographed by SunHee Kim, running October 20 and 21 at New York City Center. Song of the Mermaid, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's beloved tale 'The Little Mermaid,' will star Kimin Kim, principal dancer of Mariinsky Ballet, and feature 40 dancers and an original score composed by Hana Ryou.

Pentacle's seventh year of Fall Further brings you the distinct work of choreographers exemplifying the artistic voices using dance as a vehicle to comment on, represent, question, and deny the realities of our current times. From classical to modern to theatrical, these select artists in Pentacle's Administrative Support Program bring you a diverse evening of dance with a provocative flair.

Works & Process will present a Dorrance Dance Rotunda Project Revivalwith two free special demonstrations and a performance for middle and high school students on November 1, 2018.

Miro Magloire's New Chamber Ballet will continue its 2018-19 season with two world premieres: New Ballet I by guest choreographer Gabrielle Lamb to music by Missy Mazzoli, and New Ballet II by Magloire, to music by Schubert (titles later!).   Completing the program are Magloire's Feel Your Fall,  to music by composer Wolfgang Rihm, premiered at the September performances, and Two Friends to Debussy.  As always, Magloire's superb musicians are called upon to perform compositions that range from the impressionist Debussy to the contemporary sounds of Rihm.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Betsy King Militello, Executive Director) is thrilled to announce final casting for the 30th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS along with The Songwriters Showcase and Midday Cabarets. The FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS takes place on Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26, 2018 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Festival events kick off on Monday, October 22 with Thank You, 30! a gala event to celebrate the 30th Annual Festival.

New York City Center today announced casting for the Annual Gala. The 75th Anniversary gala presentation will feature A Chorus Line.

The Old Globe will expand San Diego's celebration of the holidays with a world premiere American musical about family, faith, and the magic of Christmas. The Globe is delighted to announce the complete cast and creative team for Looking for Christmas, the new Clint Black Christmas musical, inspired by the country music legend's 1995 chart-topping holiday album. With music and lyrics by Clint Black, book by James D. Sasser with Black, based on an idea by Sasser and Black, music supervision and music direction by Matt Hinkley, and directed by Kent Nicholson, Looking for Christmas will run November 11 - December 16, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets start at $39.00 and are on sale to the general public now. Previews run November 11-19. Opening night is Tuesday, November 20 at 8:00 p.m.

Peak Performances continues its galvanizing 2018-19 season with Liz Gerring Dance Company's field (October 18-21), the final installment in a trilogy of works Peak Performances has commissioned from the acclaimed choreographer. This work of movement, sound, and light marks the third collaboration between Liz Gerring, composer Michael J. Schumacher, and designer Robert Wierzel, following 2013's glacier and 2015's horizon.

Walnut Street Theatre's 2018-19 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with the wacky holiday musical revue, WINTER WONDERETTES. Directed by Richard Parison, the production begins with previews on November 13th, opens November 15th, and continues through December 30th.

CELTIC WOMAN (www.celticwoman.com), the Grammy® -nominated, multi-platinum international music group today announced its return to North America with a brand new live show, Ancient Land. The tour announcement comes on the heels of the release of the 13th studio album of the same name. CELTIC WOMAN will visit nearly 70 North American cities in 2019 kicking off February 28 at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville. Following a successful 4-city tour of Florida that included a well-received appearance at the Forward Motion Physically Integrated Dance Festival in Miami, the company brings its vaunted skill set back to the Bay Area with select performances that include a newly reconceived staging of Robert Dekkers' Flutter, along with AXIS Artistic Director Marc Brew's Quartet No.1 to the Berkeley Ballet Theater, that will then be followed by a collaboration with Crowded Fire Theater, Star Finch, and Ensemble Mik Nawooj at the Bay View Opera House in San Francisco entitled Death Become Life: Banish Darkness, all before segueing to its 2019-20 season that will include a special Oakland-based educational event for Dance Access Day in February, as well as the world premiere of Alice in Oakland-their ambitious and much anticipated collaboration with Arthur Pita-coming to and co-presented by Z Space in San Francisco, November 2019
