When his younger brother Wilson Mizner died two months later, he was best known as a raconteur whose name could occasionally be found among the writing credits of a Broadway play or Hollywood feature.

Cast And Creative Announced For ROSE'S WAR Premiering At The RAVE Theater Fest

The cast and creative team are now complete for Todd Allan, Peter B. Allen, Doug Katsaros, and Mathayu Warren-Lane's new musical ROSE'S WAR, an official selection to be premiered as part of the inaugural season of the RAVE Theater Festival. Leading Brooklyn Arts Institution 651 Arts Announces New Executive Director

651 ARTS, Brooklyn's premier organization for the African Diasporic arts, today announced the appointment of seasoned nonprofit arts leader David J. Roberts as the renowned institution's new Executive Director. The selection of Roberts follows an extensive nationwide search led by cultural consulting firm CJAM Consulting, LLC and 651's Board of Directors. Roberts, who succeeds former Executive Director Shay Wafer, will report to the Board of Directors and will officially assume the role in August, 2019. 

SHREK Next Up At Danbury's Musicals At RIchter, July 26-August 10

Musicals at Richter (MAR), celebrating 35 seasons as the longest-running outdoor theater in Connecticut, continues its main stage season with 'Shrek the Musical,' a hilarious fairy tale adventure based on the beloved animated film and children's book, playing July 26 to August 10. Staged on the grounds of the Richter House Arts Center, 100 Aunt Hack Road, in Danbury, performances take place outdoors under the stars Friday through Sunday evenings, with additional specially discounted performances on Thursday August 1 and 8.
