Florida Repertory Theatre, recently called 'one of the top regional troupes in the United States' by 'The Wall Street Journal', is pleased to announce its 2016-2017 Season in the Historic Arcade Theatre and ArtStage Studio Theatre. Running October 7 to May 14, the season includes Agatha Christie's most famous whodunit, a Tony-winning musical, multiple comedies, an American classic, a world-premiere, and more!

An annual production to raise funds for a local museum now benefits a non-profit set up by Harper Lee.

Berkeley Playhouse will produce the first non-musical in its nine-year history with Christopher Sergel's adaptation of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird. The show will be directed by Berkeley Playhouse's Producing Artistic Director Daren A.C. Carollo (Berkeley Playhouse's Peter Pan, Hairspray; Broadway: A Time to Kill; Off-Broadway: bare The Musical; Regional: Diablo Theatre Company, City Lights Theatre Company, Napa Valley Opera House, Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre, Town Hall Theatre Company). Previews begin April 28. The show runs from April 30 to May 22 at the Julia Morgan Theater, 2640 College Ave in Berkeley, CA. Tickets are now available through the box office. Florida Rep announces its 2016-2017 Season! 

? At an exclusive event last night for subscribers, donors and members of the press, Tony Award-winning Trinity Repertory Company, under the leadership of Richard L. Bready Artistic Director Curt Columbus announced their 2016-2017 season: Ghosts of the Past, Dreams of the Future.

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park is extending its thought-provoking, visually exciting production of Harper Lee's beloved story TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD due to ticket demand. Christopher Sergel's timeless and timely adaptation, which had been set to close on April 3, now will run through April 10. The extension adds five new performances: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7; 8 p.m. Friday, April 8; 4 and 8 p.m. Saturday, April 9; and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10.

?At the 20th annual Pell Awards, Trinity Repertory Company will honor local artists Len Cabral and Charlene Carpenzano with Rhode Island Pell Awards for Excellence in the Arts alongside previously announced honorees The Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis, Laurie Eustis and Elizabeth Chace. The awards ceremony and celebration will be held at Ochre Court on the Salve Regina University Campus in Newport, RI on May 23, 2016. The Village Players continues their successful 93rd season with the gripping drama TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD adapted by Christopher Sergel from the novel by Harper Lee. Harper Lee's classic American tale of courage and justice takes the stage as Syracuse Stage presents TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, February 24 - March 26, directed by producing artistic director Timothy Bond.

TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, one of the most popular and best-loved stories in American literature, returns to the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park for the first time in more than 20 years in a thought-provoking and visually exciting new production. Christopher Sergel's adaptation of Harper Lee's coming-of-age story will be introduced to a new generation on the Playhouse's Robert S. Marx Theatre stage from March 5 through April 3, 2016. The innovative production of the classic story, which is both timeless and timely, features the Playhouse debut of Obie Award-winning director and Associate Artist Eric Ting.

The Rep's biggest season yet runs September through April at the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts, kicking off with Stephen Sondheim's masterwork musical Follies.

As part of its mission to use theatre as a discussion starter among teen audiences, La Mirada-based Phantom Projects Theatre Group will stage a new production of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird on February 18 at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.

'To Kill A Mockingbird' is at The Media Theatre through February 21. The legendary novel by Harper Lee is adapted by Christopher Sergel for the stage play. 

? Trinity Rep continues its 52nd season Rebels, Renegades and Pioneers with To Kill a Mockingbird, based on the novel by Harper Lee, adapted by Christopher Sergel and a special limited run presentation of companion piece Blues for Mister Charlie, by James Baldwin. Both productions are directed by Brian McEleney and feature the same cast. The productions will be performed in limited rotating repertory.

Indianapolis-Harper Lee's classic novel To Kill A Mockingbird comes to life on the Indiana Repertory Theatre's (IRT) OneAmerica Mainstage on January 29 through February 28. The production follows the Finch siblings as they learn about the realities of a divided world through the eyes of a much older Scout, seen narrating throughout the play.

Geva Theatre Center presents Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird as part of the 2015-2016 ESL Wilson Stage Series. To Kill a Mockingbird is adapted by Christopher Sergel and directed by Mark Cuddy, with original music by Gregg Coffin. The production begins previews on February 16, opens on February 20 and runs in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage until March 20.

Trinity Rep continues Season 52 Rebels, Renegades and Pioneers with Wendy Wasserstein's Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy, The Heidi Chronicles, directed by Vivienne Benesch. Performances run December 3, 2015 through January 3, 2016.

Queens Theatre today announced the cast for this month's rarely seen New York City stage production of Harper Lee's classic To Kill A Mockingbird. Directed by Rob Urbinati, To Kill A Mockingbird is playing a two-week engagement with performances beginning on Friday, November 13th and extending through Sunday, November 22. c
