Robert Cuccioli and Glory Crampton will reunite at a special gathering for the official release of the new cast recording of the York Theatre Company production of Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick, and Sherman Yellen's musical Rothschild & Sons on Monday, July 25 at 6:00pm at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Serenbe Playhouse, recipient of the prestigious American Theatre Wing grant (2015), is pleased to present the fourth show in its 2016 season, Miss Saigon, with music by Claude- Michel Scho?nberg; lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr., and Alain Boublil; adapted from the original French lyrics by Alain Boublil.

New Line Theatre, 'the bad boy of musical theatre,' announces its 26th season of adult, alternative musical theatre, including the world premiere of a new revised version of the wild, 1969 adult jazz-rock musical CELEBRATION, by the creators of The Fantasticks, running Sept. 29-Oct. 22, 2016; followed by Kander & Ebb's rarely produced gem ZORBA, running March 2-25, 2017; then the regional premiere of the pitch-black 2002 jazz-rock musical THE SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS, based on the famous novel and film, running June 1-24, 2017; and the world premiere of the third installment of New Line's own creation, the new revue OUT ON BROADWAY: THE THIRD COMING, running August 3-19, 2017. All New Line's mainstage shows will be in the company's new home, the Marcelle Theater, the new blackbox theatre in Grand Center, St. Louis' arts district.

During the 2016 OSCARS which aired last night on ABC, actor and Oscar winner Louis Gossett, Jr. introduced the In Memoriam tribute as Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters performed The Beatles hit 'Blackbird.'

Dave Schoonover (The Fantasticks, Young Frankenstein) and Abigail Shapiro (How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Liberty the Musical) are set to join the cast of Love Songs for V-Day at 54 Below!

The third volume of the concert features a cast of dynamic performers from the Broadway and NYC theatre communities, singing songs from across the musical theatre spectrum about, well, love. The love we make, the love we take, the love we find, and the love we hold onto - this evening will see and sing us through it all. This year, the song selections feature female musical theatre writers and composers.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts will honor Sir Sidney Poitier with the Fellowship at the EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday, February 14th.

The Off-Broadway cast recording of the new Bock and Harnick musical, Rothschild & Sons, an intimate reimagining of the Tony nominated musical The Rothschilds, will be recorded and released by JAY Records.  Produced by John Yap, the recording will feature the original cast of The York Theatre Company production who will gather at The Avatar Studios on Monday, October 26, 2015 to lay down the tracks for the recording scheduled for release on JAY Records in early January.  Executive Producers are John Yap and Arnold Mittelman.
