New Adventures has just announced that Associate Artist and Tony and Olivier Award Winning designer Lez Brotherston on his Order of the British Empire in The Queen’s New Year Honours 2022 for services to Dance and Theatre.

In her new role Kate will be responsible for the artistic leadership required to maintain Central's reputation for the delivery of world-class dance education and training, alongside graduate dance employment, supporting an increasingly diverse and innovative, internationally recognised culture of dance in the UK. 

KATIE McDERMOTT, and CHRISTIAN LAVERDE KÖNIG will appear as guest artists in Ballet Arts of Jackson's production of The Nutcracker on December 13, 14 & 15, 2019 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, Tennessee.

Central School of Ballet announces new MA Choreography programme participants: Anjali Mehra-Hughes from New Adventures and Sandrine Monin from Phoenix Dance Theatre. The students joined Central this spring on the MA programme that takes 18 months on average to complete, providing the opportunity for professional choreographers to hone their skills, engage in research and develop their practice at the highest level.

Central School of Ballet has announced that Christopher Hampson, Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Scottish Ballet, will join Central's Board of Governors from the start of the new academic year in September 2018. At the same time Christopher Hinton-Lewis, currently Guest Ballet Master for Northern Ballet will join Central's artistic staff as First Year Male Tutor.

Central School of Ballet's renowned graduate performing company Ballet Central will commence its annual nationwide tour at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London on Friday 2nd March 2018. Harris Beattie, student at Central School of Ballet in London, is the first ever competitor to win all three top awards at the prestigious Gen e International Ballet Competition 2017. The competition, run by the Royal Academy of Dance, took place in Lisbon and concluded on 16th September at the city's Teatro Cam es.

Choreographer and dancer Christopher Marney, best known as a principal dancer with Matthew Bourne's New Adventures, has today been announced as the new Artistic Director of Ballet Central.

MARENA PEREZ, principal dancer of the Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico, DANIEL RAMIREZ, principal soloist of the Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico, and CRISTIAN LAVERDE KÖNIG, former principal dancer of the Milwaukee Ballet, will appear as guest artists in Ballet Arts' production of The Nutcracker on December 11, 12 & 13, 2015 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, Tennessee.

A 'boy ballet with bite' arrives in Milwaukee this October to foreshadow the Halloween holiday weekend. Milwaukee Ballet presents the iconic Dracula under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Pink and Production Manager Douglas McCubbin. The two men met almost 15 years ago when McCubbin danced Dracula's title role in the 2000 Royal New Zealand Ballet production, which then forged a fast friendship between the two artists ever since. Six months after Michael Pink arrived in  Milwaukee, McCubbin followed by joining the Milwaukee Ballet and again performed the title role under Pink's direction in 2005. 

The Joyce Theater Foundation presents the long-awaited NYC return of the UK's Royal Ballet – first time in over 11 years – at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center beginning with a gala performance on June 23, followed by two mix-billed programs of works by Frederick Ashton, Kenneth MacMillan, Wayne McGregor, Liam Scarlett and Christopher Wheeldon through June 28.
