Critically-acclaimed, award-winning Broadway star Susan Egan will release her sixth solo CD, The Secret of Happiness, in stores nationwide and online November 15, 2011. The recording, produced and music directed by Georgia Stitt, celebrates the worlds of classic and contemporary Broadway and Pop/Rock, taking the listeners on Susan's personal journey from Broadway to babies and beyond.

Susan Egan has a brand music video coming out next week for her original song, 'Nina Doesn't Care,' and BroadwayWorld has an exclusive behind-the-scenes video of how Susan and crew put it all together -- complete with animated characters! The song is from her new album, 'The Secret of Happiness,' which is being released November 15th on LML Music. BroadwayWorld is very pleased to bring you this exclusive 'making-of' video, which features Susan Egan, Georgia Stitt (the album's producer and music director), Brian Haner who co-wrote 'Nina Doesn't Care', Susan Haner who produced the video, and Ken Duncan who led the animation for the video. Oh - and here's some inside info - though Susan's actual daughter Nina is now too old to play the baby in the video, she does make a cameo as herself (at age 4) in the final cut!

The Las Vegas-based entertainer Kelly Clinton makes her New York cabaret debut at The Metropolitan Room in 'Freckles and 80-Year-Old Bones,' on Monday October 17 at 9:30pm.

For her October shows the title should have been Jamie deRoy & her very talented Songwriter friends. Jamie, as she always does, interacts with her guest artists in a way that stimulates them to give performances that are unique and hugely entertaining. As William Finn (who appeared in a prior Jamie deRoy & Friends) remarked, 'Jamie's interview of me was the best I've ever had'. The show was directed by Jamie's extremely creative friend Barry Kleinbort who also displayed his wonderful performance abilities. Music Director was Shelly Markham.
