On Monday night, singer/comedienne Colleen McHugh’s showstopper of an act had the Broadway at Birdland concert series packed to the walls with cheering fans and friends, including cabaret glitterati Julie Wilson, Karen Mason, KT Sullivan, Christine Lavin, Jamie deRoy, Karen Oberlin, David Hadju, and many more!  The evening was a celebration of all things French and Cole Porter-ish, thanks to the release of Colleen’s new album “Prêt-à-Porter: Cole Porter's French Connections."   The material was très chic, the chanteuse was très funny, and the audience was très happy.  Special mention must go to the band, which included Tedd Firth on piano, Aaron Weinstein on violin, Matt Munisteri on guitar, Steve Doyle on bass and Harry Allen on tenor sax.

Broadway at Birdland is an award-winning concert series that takes place every Monday night at the historic music room.  Birdland is located at 315 West 44 Street in NYC.
