In a new behind-the-scenes video shared by the London production of HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD, actor Anthony Boyle defends his character Draco Malfoy, considered to be one of the villains in the Harry Potter saga.  

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD is currently in previews in London's West End at the Palace Theatre, where it will open on July 30. Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Paul Thornily lead the cast as Harry, Hermione and Ron, as part of a company of 42 talented actors. HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD is currently in previews in the West End, with the Official Opening performances of Part One and Part Two set for Saturday 30 July 2016. Set designer Christine Jones is featured in a new behind-the-scenes video, which showcases the craftsmanship at the heart of the production, including Hogwarts' famous moving staircase. Norby David, the former bassist and vocalist of alternative rock band Rivermaya, has joined the cast of the Manila premiere of the rock opera AMERICAN IDIOT by Green Day, which played to full houses and received standing ovations on its opening weekend (June 24-26) at the Globe Iconic Store's amphitheater on Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City.

Boomerang Theatre Company recently presented the development workshop of LOVELESS TEXAS, the new musical from Boomerang Associate Artistic Director Cailin Heffernan and composer Henry Aronson. Boomerang Theatre Company continues as producer on the project, following up on the 2010 industry reading at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater.

New and familiar faces, former reality TV contestants, and several rock band members were called back by telecom giant Globe and theater company 9 Works Theatrical, co-producers of the Manila premiere of the hit musical AMERICAN IDIOT by Green Day.

Today in 2010, American Idiot opened at the St. James Theatre, where it ran for 422 performances. American Idiot is a one-act, through-sung stage musical. The show is an adaptation of punk rock band Green Day's concept album of the same name. The story, expanded from that of the concept album, centers on three disaffected young men, Johnny, Will, and Tunny. Johnny and Tunny flee stifling suburbia and their parents' restrictions. American Idiot won two 2010 Tony Awards: Best Scenic Design of a Musical for Christine Jones, and Best Lighting Design of a Musical for Kevin Adams. It also received a nomination for Best Musical. On February 13, 2011, it won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album.
