Who knew Burt Bacharach was so emo?

The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati and Santa will bring local audiences a lot to smile about this holiday season with the world-premiere production "The Day Before Christmas," December 6-8 and 14, 2013 at the Taft Theatre.

The national tour of the explosive Broadway hit AMERICAN IDIOT, called 'wonderfully raucous' and 'emotionally charged' by The New York Times and 'flat-out electrifying' by the Boston Globe, will return to Detroit January 31 - February 2 at The Detroit Opera House. Randy Weiner's newest genre-crossing, environmental experience, Queen of the Night, which begins on December 31, 2013, has announced casting for its six week run at legendary supper club, Diamond Horseshoe. The premier offering of the newly reopening supper club, Queen of the Night features a cast of thirty-three multi-genre performers from the world of circus, modern dance, theater, nightlife, and magic.

Billy Rose's legendary supper club, Diamond Horseshoe, will reopen in its original subterranean location beneath midtown's Paramount Hotel 75 years after it first opened its doors and forever changed New York nightlife. Ghostlight Records will celebrate their Original Broadway Cast Recording of the new musical HANDS ON A HARDBODY another special event this month. Green will host the concert Amanda Green and Friends at Birdland Jazz Club (315 West 44th Street) tonight, September 29 at 6:00 PM to celebrate the album's release. Her special guests will include Keith Carradine, Allison Case, Jenn Colella, Van Hughes, Janet Krupin, Kathleen Monteleone, Jim Newman, Jacob Ming-Trent, Jon Rua and William Youmans.
