On Labor Day, September 2 at 7:30pm, the 12th Annual Kennedy Center Page-To-Stage Festival will host force/collision for a reading of Joe Calarco's new play Separate Rooms. The cast includes Tracy Olivera (Broadway's Ragtime, Ford's Theatre's Hello, Dolly!),Jenna Sokolowski (Woolly Mammoth's Mr. Burns, a post-electric play and Signature's Title of show), Thomas Keegan (Signature's Dying City),Vanessa Lock (Signature's God of Carnage), Tonya Beckman Ross (Shakespeare Theatre Company's Lady Windermere's Fan), Chris Stezin(Theatre J's The Religion Thing), Matthew Wilson (Faction of Fools), Joseph Carlson (Synetic's Home of the Solider) and Harlan Work(Theatre J's Our Class). The reading will be directed by force/collision Founding Director John Moletress and be followed by a talkback with playwright Joe Calarco, cast and director.

National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts to Wrap MANILOGY Trilogy with BEST MEN Staged Reading, 8/19

The National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, the only accredited acting school in the Greater Washington Area, announced today that its "Manilogy" reading series - a trilogy of new comedies about men - will conclude with a staged reading of "Best Men" on Monday, August 19, at 7:30 pm. The play was written by local playwrights Mario Baldessari and Chris Stezin, and the reading is being directed by WSC Avant Bard Artistic Director Tom Prewitt.

The National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, the only accredited acting school in the Greater Washington Area, announced today the continuation of its staged readings of a "Manilogy" of new comedies about men - written by local playwrights Mario Baldessari and Chris Stezin, and directed by WSC Avant Bard Artistic Director Tom Prewitt. The "Manilogy" continues with a staged reading of "The Thing about My Brother" on Monday, June 24, at 7:30.

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival (www.baltplayfest.org) is proud to announce that BPF alumni Mario Baldessari and Keith Bridges will receive a full production of their play OUR LADY OF SANDWICH at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, 1556 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, 20007, 202-333-2202. Show times are March 29 @ 8 pm, March 30 @ 8 pm, March 31 @ 3 pm and 8 pm, and April 1 @ 3 pm. Admission is free, but seating is limited, so please call to reserve seats. (There will be a suggested donation of $10 at some performances.) The conservatory is located inside the Georgetown Lutheran Church at the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Volta Place.
