Welcome to the first of a series of reports from the outskirts of the big cities! For the next couple of weeks, I will be visiting some of the smaller cities and towns around that all share one thing in common: cultural gems that dot the landscape. Today, I present to you Culpeper's State Theatre and the recent performance by Lynchburg's Endstation Theatre Company. Endstation presented TWO GENTLEMEN OF VIRGINIA recently to the delight of an appreciative audience. I think the Bard would have been thoroughly entertained by a skillfully paved intersection of historical references from the 1780s and rock and roll memories of the 1980s.

Martin & Co. continues to celebrate the 50(th) Anniversary of the iconic Martin D-35 model with two commemorative limited-edition D-35 models at the 2015 Summer NAMM show in Nashville July 9(th) through July 11(th).  The limited edition D12-35 50(th) Anniversary model and the HD-35 FM IV 60(th) will be among six other models showcased.

C.F. Martin & Co. announced today the appointment of Jacqueline Renner as its new President. Renner will work closely with Chairman and CEO Chris Martin IV on strategic direction for the 182 year old acoustic guitar and strings manufacturer. Additionally, Renner will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the global operations for the Pennsylvania-based company.

Martin & Co. will welcome John McElroy as the company's new in-house general counsel.  McElroy's dual passions for law and playing guitar make him uniquely qualified to handle the various aspects of his new position at Martin Guitar.  Bringing over 14 years of extensive experience in banking, commercial law, and litigation, McElroy's primary responsibilities as general counsel will include focusing on intellectual property issues, vendor contracts, artist endorsement contracts, as well as more general corporate issues from compliance and environmental issues to human resources, to coordinating with the various outside specialty counsels.

Everything continues to get darker and sketcher on RESURRECTION. More secrets from people's pasts are coming out, old 'friends' are resurfacing, and more and more questions are being left underanswered. Right from the beginning of tonight's episode, entitled 'Will,' we get some important information, that Maggie thinks Arcadia some sort of flu or pneumonia has hit Arcadia, but only for the Returned, which is now up to 6. Well 7, but Bellamy hasn't told anyone else about himself other than Jacob. Sheriff Langston shows Bellamy the bone fragment from the factory and explains the connection between the “trucking accident” at the factory and the Returned. Fred knows his mother is hiding something but won't tell him so he trusts Bellamy to take a shot at cracking Margaret. It's nice to see these two playing nicely together! Good job, boys!
