On Friday, December 1, The Sherman Playhouse will debut its hilarious holiday whodunit, Murder Takes a Holiday by Tim Kelly. The curtain rises at 8:00 p.m. for a four week run.

On September 22, The Sherman Playhouse will debut its fall production of Howard Richardson and William Berney's Dark of the Moon, an eerie tale of forbidden love, set against the backdrop of the Smoky Mountains and the supernatural world.

We are pleased to share the video for Destroyer's new single 'Tinseltown Swimming in Blood.' The video was directed by KC (aka Karen Zolo) as an adaptation of the much-revered classic film La Jet e, which addresses contemporary issues of identity, borders, and race.

The show is directed by Alicia Dempster of Danbury.

Sundance Institute has selected 25 projects to participate in its Screenwriters Lab, Documentary Edit and Story Labs and new Theatre-Makers Residency, which will take place concurrently this summer in the mountains of the Sundance Resort in Utah. The confluence of these three artist development programs will provide Fellows the unprecedented opportunity to experience portions of the other Labs and will support a cross-pollination of creativity and personal expression across different storytelling forms.

ARSENIC AND OLD LACE is the quintessential farcical black comedy. It focuses on the Brewster family, currently residing in 1940s Brooklyn. The family is comprised of two charming spinster aunts who populate their cellar with the remains of socially and religiously 'acceptable' roomers; their brother who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt; and another brother, Mortimer, a drama critic who must deal with his crazy, homicidal family as he debates whether to go through with his recent promise to marry. The play is one of the most popularly performed American comedies of the past 75 years.
