I hate theatre people. Okay, that was harsh. I don’t hate ALL theatre people.

When the time for the long-anticipated *stage kiss* arrived, I got up on my toes, leaned over, and did something that to this day, I will solely refer to as a?oeThe Chincident--a??

I admittedly once wore drama goggles with the strongest of prescriptions. 

Rejection sucks. It just does. Though we may not always admit it, validation is something that everybody craves, and not getting it constantly can feel like a real punch in the gut.

I was falling prey to an illness far worse than that summer's outbreak of impetigo: DRAMA GOGGLES. 

For people majoring in theatre and drama, college brings the inevitable questioning of your life choices by your Mom's friends and extended family.

a?oeYou're not in high school drama club anymorea?? was the first thing a college acting professor said upon entering the room on my first day of freshman year. There was something completely terrifying about hearing that phrase out loud, even for those of us who weren't even in a a?oedrama cluba?? to begin with.

Following a move from New York City to small-town Indiana, young Evan Goldman grapples with his parents' divorce, prepares for his impending Bar Mitzvah, and navigates the complicated social circles of a new school.

This past weekend, May 14-15, A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, presented Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, JR. The double-cast production of 7-18 year-olds sold out six flawless shows at the beautiful Off Broadway Five Angels Theater. Scroll down for a look at the cast in action!

A Class Act NY, Manhattan's award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, produced four main-stage productions of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE JR. on Dec. 5th and 6th, 2015. The show was double cast with performers ages 12-18 and performed at the beautiful Off-Broadway Theatre, The Five Angels in midtown Manhattan. The Childrens Acting Company (CAA), an arm of the internationally acclaimed The Children's Acting Academy of New York, will present its production of Willy Wonka Jr for six performances at Manhattan's McGinn/Cazale Theatre, 2162 Broadway, 4th Floor, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, tonight, January 25, 26 and 27 at 7 PM and on today, Saturday and Sunday, February 1, 2 and 3, at 7 PM.
