With funding from the Station North Arts and Entertainment District Second Saturdays, the Strand Theater Company presents our first annual Second Saturday Reading Series.

With funding from the Station North Arts and Entertainment District Second Saturdays, the Strand Theater Company presents our first annual Second Saturday Reading Series. The Reading Series will give one new playwright each month, a chance to have their work produced for an audience. The series will be FREE to the public, and audience members will be asked to provide feedback to the playwright.

City Parks Foundation recently announced the 2011 season of SummerStage, New York's largest free performing arts festival.

The Firehouse Theatre Project announces its Festival of New Plays, beginning July 8th. Two finalists' scripts, chosen from hundreds submitted from across the nation, are brought to life in staged readings and the Festival audience chooses the winner!

Passage Theatre, Trenton's only professional theater company, is pleased to announce the New Jersey premiere of Mat Smart's two-person drama Samuel J. and K., a play which traces the complex bond between two brothers as they travel to the homeland of the younger. Directed by Jade King Carroll, performances end May 22 at the Mill Hill Playhouse, which is located 205 E. Front Street in Trenton's Historic Mill Hill district.
