The Goodman announces its six-project line-up of the 17th annual New Stages Festival, running December 1-19.

West, directed by Goodman Resident Artistic Associate Henry Godinez.

Metro Theater Company has been approved for a $20,000 Grants for Arts Projects award to support its upcoming 2021/22 season production Last Stop on Market Street, based on the New York Times bestselling, Newbery Medal-winning, and Coretta Scott King Award-winning picture book by Matt de la Peña and Christian Robinson, adapted for the stage by Cheryl L. Directed by Henry Godinez with Music Direction and Arrangements by Felton Offard, Asolo Rep will start the “roll,” followed by productions to be announced at Goodman Theatre and Seattle Rep.

On its heels is the second installment premiering February 25, featuring another new work on the horizon for Seattle Rep – a fresh and relevant new translation of one of Henrik Ibsen’s most vivid and controversial masterpieces, Ghosts.

The season kicks off with Laura Osnes in Concert on February 5 and 6, with music direction by Fred Lassen.
