OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and O, The Oprah Magazine announced today the newest Oprah's Book Club selection, The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row by Anthony Ray Hinton with Lara Love Hardin, a revealing story of hope, love, justice, and the power of reading by a man who spent 30 years on death row for a crime he didn't commit.

Lightning Bolt Productions' Presents INTO THE WOODS At West Boca High School 6/8-17

Into the Woods, the multi-award-winning (Tony Awards, Drama Desk Awards, Olivier Awards) musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine, skillfully interweaves several classic fairy tales into one epic story that shows what happens when things get real in the fairy-tale world. Fulton Theatre Mounts Biggest Production Yet THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME

On June 5, 2018, the Fulton Theatre launches The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the theatre's season finale and biggest production of the 2017/2018 season.  The Hunchback of Notre Dame will also be one of the largest shows in the theatre's one hundred sixty six year history. Over ninety cast and choir members will take the stage amidst soaring bell towers, a gypsy village, and the bustling streets of fifteenth century Paris. Beneath the stage, a fourteen piece orchestra will bring to life the incredible music of the timeless classic.

BWW Interview: Playwright Dominique Morisseau Shameless-ly TOO PROUD of Her DETROIT CREW

Prolific playwright Dominique Morisseau's SKELETON CREW begins June 5, 2018 as the next Geffen Playhouse production. SKELETON CREW, the final play in Dominique's three-play cycle THE DETROIT PROJECT, focuses on four co-workers of an auto factory about to go under, circa 2008.  We had the chance to catch Dominique in between her multi-tasking of writing on her multitude of projects, including Showtime's Shameless and the upcoming AIN'T TOO PROUD scheduled for a Broadway run.

TUCK EVERLASTING Comes to The Studio Theatre

The Studio Theatre presents Tuck Everlasting June 14 - July 1, 2018. Tickets are $25.00 for general admission. Tickets are $20.00 for Seniors (65+), Military, and Students. There are no assigned seats at The Studio Theatre. The box office will open at 6:30pm on performance dates and the house will open approximately 15 - 20 minutes prior to curtain. Group Rep Brings Neil Simon's RUMORS To Lonny Chapman Theatre

The Group Rep presents Neil Simon's classic farce RUMORS, directed by Doug Engalla, produced by Alyson York for the Group Rep. Five neurotic couples gather for a dinner party celebrating one couple's 10th anniversary. The best laid plans go wildly awry when guests arrive early only to discover their host has shot himself, the hostess and servants are missing, and dinner not ready. As confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into farcical hilarity. The play runs June 15 through July 29 at the Lonny Chapman Theatre in North Hollywood, at the edge of the NoHo Arts District.
