Jason Odell Williams' CHURCH & STATE Play Gets Readings Before Off-Broadway Debut

Charlotte Cohn, in association with NewYorkRep and The Telling Company, to present industry readings of Jason Odell Williams' critically acclaimed play Church & State. The readings will take place Sunday October 23rd at 1PM, Monday October 24th at 7PM, and Tuesday October 25th at 1PM at The Cell Theatre (338 W.23rd St.).

NNPN Sets CHURCH & STATE as 60th Rolling World Premiere

The National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces its 60th NNPN Rolling World Premiere (RWP): Church & State by Jason Odell Williams. The play was developed in conjunction with Ralph Meranto, Artistic Director of Associate Member JCC CenterStage (Rochester, NY, October 20-November 6, 2016). Other partner theaters are NNPN Associate Member Skylight Theatre Company (Los Angeles, CA, July 2-August 14, 2016) and Core Member New Jersey Repertory Company (Long Branch, NJ, May 4-June 4, 2017).

Ian Kahn to Lead Reading of Jason Odell Williams' New Play CHURCH & STATE

Lead producer Charlotte Cohn will present a staged reading of  Jason Odell Williams' new play, Church & State, for one night only on Monday, April 4th at 7pm at The Cell Theatre (338 W 23rd Street). Proceeds from the reading will benefit Sandy Hook Promise. Ian Kahn ("George Washington" on AMC's Turn, Hard Love, Enron) will lead the cast, which also includes Beth Hylton, Judy Jerome, and Andy Talen.  Gregg Wiggans directs (TV's Smash). Adelphi University to Present HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE

As part of their Pulitzer Prize-winning season, the Department of Theatre at Adelphi University's Performing Arts Center (AUPAC) is pleased to present the 1998 Pulitzer Prize-winning play How I Learned to Drive, written by playwright Paula Vogel and directed by Adelphi Adjunct Professor Markus Potter.

The new play is a battle-of-the-sexes farce set in New York City. The reading, which is being produced by The Resonance Ensemble, takes place tonight, July 7, 2015 at 7:00 p.m at the Manhattan Theatre Club Studios (311 W 43rd Street 8th Floor) and is open to the public.

Horse Trade Stages NYC Premiere of RECOLLECTION OF INNOCENCE, Now thru 6/6

FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade will present a limited engagement of the NYC premiere of Recollection of Innocence written and directed by Guy Kapulnik, tonight, May 28-June 6 at UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place between 1st Avenue and Avenue A) with performances Thursday through Saturday at 8pm.
