On last night's episode of Bravo's TOP CHEF TEXAS, chef Heather Terhune was eliminated from the competition. On the show, the chefs had a chance to reflect and pay homage to the person who taught them how to cook by making a 'tribute dish' in their honor.
Christina Ricci Joins Cast of Classic Stage Company's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM Opposite Bebe Neuwirth

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick, has announced that acclaimed actress Christina Ricci will join two-time Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth in the company's upcoming production of William Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. Directed by Tony Speciale, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM will begin performances Wednesday, March 28 and play a limited engagement through Sunday, May 6. Neuwirth will play the role of Titania and Ricci the role of Hermia. Additional casting will be announced early in the new year. Tickets will go on sale to the general public February 6. CSC is currently presenting the highly-acclaimed, sold-out production of Anton Chekhov's THE CHERRY ORCHARD (through January 8 only) and will next present Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham in Bertolt Brecht's GALILEO, directed by Brian Kulick, beginning performances Wednesday, February 1.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association has announced its nominees for the 17th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards. 'The Artist' and 'Hugo' tie for first place with 11 nominations each, while 'Drive' and 'The Help' each garnered 8 nominations.

Chef Whitney Otawka is the latest Chef to be elimiated from the current season of Bravo TV's TOP CHEF TEXAS. In the Elimination Challenge of last night's episode, the chefs had to create their best steak dish for the annual Cattle Baron's Ball. They put out a progressive four-course beef menu for 200-seated guests and had to work together to plate every last dish before 50 waiters enter to pick-up the plates.

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival has just announced that award-winning actress, Viola Davis with the Outstanding Performer of the Year Award will appear on Friday, January 27, 2012, sponsored by Chumash Casino Resort. She will be honored with a Tribute celebrating her compelling performance in Tate Taylor's The Help at the 27th edition of the Festival which runs January 26 - February 5, 2012, it was announced today by SBIFF Executive Director Roger Durling.
