While Broadway has yet to see a live adaptation of Lucas' epic, there have been valiant efforts made to bring STAR WARS to the stage.

The Union County Performing Arts Center will kick-off its 2015 fall season with Sing-a-Long-a Grease tonight, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. on the Mainstage. A free classic car show will take place in front of the theater before the performance.

One Man Lord of the Rings and One Man Star Wars Trilogy return to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe after hugely successful runs in 2006, 2009 and 2012. This year, the shows will play in repertory from 30 July to 25 August in Assembly George Square Studios One.

The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts today announced the performance calendar for its inaugural 2014-15 season, with a total of 33 productions, performing groups and individual artists - exclusive of September grand opening events and subscription performances by its resident companies.
