Maine State Music Theatre's 2014 season will explode on stage on June 4th. While season tickets have been and remain currently available, single tickets to individual shows are on sale, April 30th starting at 9:00 am. Many shows will sell out, so call to get your tickets today. Tickets will be available online at www.msmt.org, over the phone by calling (207) 725-8769, or in person by visiting the Box Office located at 22 Elm Street in Brunswick. Starting May 27th the Box Office will be located in the Pickard Theatre for the duration of the season.

MSMT's 2014 season fires up on June 4th with Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, which has been selling out across the nation. Featuring numbers like "Peggy Sue", "That'll Be The Day", and "Maybe Baby", MSMT audiences are sure to be tapping their feet, clapping their hands, and singing along all night. June 25th is the opening for Chamberlain: A Civil War Romance. Telling the tale of Maine's local hero, Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, this show explores how a man must decide between his family and his civic duty. You won't want to miss the victory of the North retold on the Pickard stage. This will be the grandest show of our season. On July 16th, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers opens and will be the biggest dance spectacle to hit Brunswick since 42nd Street. "Goin' Courtin" has never been so much fun! The final show of the season is Footloose which kicks off August 6th. With hits like "Almost Paradise," "Let's Hear It For The Boy," and "Footloose," you'll be sure to "cut loose" all the way home.

Tickets to MSMT's mainstage productions range from $38 to $63. Subscriptions are the best way to ensure seats for all four shows.

MSMT is also offering three special Monday night concert events beginning with The One-Man Star Wars Trilogy on June 16th at 7 pm. The extremely talented Canadian actor Charles Ross single-handedly plays all the characters, sings the music, flies the ships, fights the battles and condenses the plots into just sixty minutes! Mr. Ross is so popular, MSMT had to book him two years in advance, so get your tickets now- you won't get the chance to see him again until you're in "a galaxy far, far away."

On July 28th, a concert version of Godspell will bring "all good gifts" to the Pickard Stage. Written by Stephen Schwartz, who also wrote the smash hits Wicked and Pippin, this concert will be one to remember. Then, on August 11th, Footlight Follies will return! Last year's most popular event will grace the multiple stages again for an evening of songs, skits and silliness combining the best of talents provided by community members, our own MSMT acting company, staff, Board of Trustees and surprise guests. Tickets to MSMT's special concert events range from $20 to $40.

MSMT also offers two great opportunities to enlighten children at the theatre. On June 11th The Teacher From The Black Lagoon will be presented at 10am, 1pm, and 3pm. On August 18th, MSMT's nationally recognized Intern Company produces a unique retelling of The Little Mermaid. This interpretation is written by MSMT's own Artistic Director, Curt Dale Clark, and favorite seasonal Director and Choreographer, Marc Robin. Tickets to MSMT's children's musicals range from $10 to $14 and school groups and camp groups are welcome.

All of MSMT's performances take place at the Pickard Theater on the campus of Bowdoin College located at 1 Bath Road in Brunswick. For more information about show times and ticket prices, please visit www.msmt.org or call the Box Office at (207) 725-8769.
